An injured Iraqi man is treated in a hospital after a car bomb exploded between the Iraqi Shi'ite holy cities of Najaf and Kerbala, sites of twin suicide car bombings a week ago, the chief of police in Najaf said, December 25, 2004. Ghalib al-Jazairi said those killed were civilians but the bomb in the town of Khan al-Nus appeared to have been aimed at a U.S. military convoy. A witness confirmed that, saying a Landcruiser vehicle blew up as the military convoy passed. REUTERS/Ali Abu Shish

1. I hope the Iraqis can forgive us.
I'm not too worried about a god, personally. If it exists, it should seek forgiveness for allowing this to happen.

5. so do I!
Wasn´t sure if I believed in God when I was younger, but as I grew older and saw this world around me, I could only think: if there really is a God, then why is this world so damn unfair?

3. It's always quiet
before they launch another big offensive. Don't want the kids listening to FAUX know how fucked they really are before they head into battle.

4. The media adrenalin industry is adjusting the dosage we receive.
Governance by propaganda-induced fear has a learning curve. The fascists are figuring out just how much fear we can endure before it hurts productivity and willingness to join the military.

The White House and its media lackeys are realizing we can't take too much horror or we turn away from the news(don't take our meds) or, even worse, start to fight back with economic boycotts. That one REALLY got their attention since they are being 'red-lined' by overseas investors, too.

"Your majesty! The peasants are revolting!"

The holiday season is a time to let us re-sensitize with a short 'peace and love'-vacation because they are gonna work our amygdalas HARD in January with the violence leading up to the Chimperor's Inauguration and the fake elections in Iraq.

See my thread about Cokie Roberts, Dan rather, Robert MacNeil and the CIA.
