Check out this right-wing website www.grassfire.org The hardcore religious right is very organized and are congratulating themselves for 2004! If you really want to get mad, check out their "Year in Review" video. This is why all of us who oppose the right wing need to BAND TOGETHER to defeat them! The enemies of the far right are our friends!

7. You are absolutely correct......

....in that we need to realize that the right has used this grassroots model for 25 years now with great success. They stick together under the banner, no matter what.

We progressives will forever be marginalized unless we can learn from this type of organization and come together as one. It all comes down to changing minds, one at a time. It may take a while, and we need to have patience. But it WILL happen.

I for one, am not going back to live in the stone age with my fundie masters cracking the whips.
