6. here's the letter I am sending to * to ask him to cancel his inauguration
Edited on Tue Dec-28-04 04:17 PM by proud2Blib
Dear President Bush,
Congratulations on your upcoming inauguration.

In view of the recent tragedy in Asia, I am suggesting that you cancel your $8 million inaugural party and donate the funds to the tsunami relief fund.

After the election, you said you wanted to help our country heal. As a voter who did not support you, I am suggesting this would be an excellent way to begin this healing process and win over the 'other side'.

I hope you at least consider this suggestion.

Sincerely,
proud2blib

7. add: UMCOR (United Methodist Commission on Relief)
link: http://www.umc.org/

UMCOR is always on the front line when disaster strikes

Usually in a domestic disaster, the UMCOR trucks pull in right alongside the FEMA folks and the Red Cross, and bring water, food, hygiene kits, and other necessities.

A terrific arm of the UMC..
