I heard the news today (Oh Boy!)...perspective!
Today, the Death Toll from a Natural Disaster in Indonesia rose above 125,000.
5 Million are displaced or homeless.
The numbers are mind boggling.
The Humanitarian Crisis is overwhelming.

The Death Toll of a Human Caused Catastrophe is above 125,000.
Millions are displaced or homeless.
These particular numbers have become numbing.
This particular Humanitarian Crisis has been relegated to the back pages, or mostly forgotten.

I am speaking about the Human Catastrophe caused (gleefully) by George W Bush* and his gang of bloodthirsty psychopaths.
By some estimates, the Death Toll in Afghanistan and Iraq exceeds 125,000.

In comparison, it took george bush* 2-1/2 years to accomplish what Mother Nature did in one(1)day.

2. more numbers
From NPR this evening:

FEMA gave over $3 billion in aid to Florida for the hurricanes.

Over 20 million of it is being investigated for fraud because it went to Miami-Dade, which didn't have any hurricane force winds at all. It got a bit of hurricane Frances, but the winds there didn't go beyond tropical storm level.

Probably old news, but it was interesting in light of the dollars we're giving for the tsunami. But hey, we don't need their votes.

3. Right on!!!!!!!!!!
If a natural disaster happens here in the good ol' USA....(esp. if it's in a swing state)... then let's make sure that they get all the $$$ they coupld possibly need.

But all these poor 3rd world countries, they can basically fend for themselves.............according to * and his minions.
