Tourists run from killer tsunami

THE blue skies and sandy beaches are a travel brochure image of the ultimate tropical paradise as foreign holidaymakers enjoy Boxing Day basking in Thailand’s beautiful sunshine.

Bathers look on with interest as a stunning wave approaches in the middle distance.

But within seconds, the tourists realise that the approaching water brings with it unimaginable terror, and families, including young children, turn and run for their lives.
