(AP) -- Months after she tantalized the national news media with her testimony in the Scott Peterson double murder trial, Peterson's former mistress Amber Frey is selling her story in book form, her publisher announced today.

Frey's memoir "Witness: For the Prosecution of Scott Peterson" is scheduled to go on sale Jan. 4, according to ReganBooks, a division of New York-based HarperCollins Publishers.

Frey's attorney, Gloria Allred, added, "We think her story of courage in crisis will inspire others who have been betrayed to fight back for truth and justice."

As the trial came to a close, Judge Alfred Delucchi reminded jurors that they must wait 90 days before they can accept any compensation for services related to their participation in the trial.

I thought they were just milking it for more than it was ever worth. No it is actually worse-he is helping her hawk her book.
