Shelby cut over to a Malloy replay of last night's show.

I was listening on CRN4, so I wasn't affected.

5. I agree it was a bad call....but I can imagine what Shelby was thinking

she was probably really irate listening to the conversation. And annoyed that Thom waited until Sander was no longer on the air to address it.

Censoring how Thom handles an issue, even as serious as this, is an awful move. He's so trustworthy and has a lifetime of working for social justice.

I disagreed with Bernie Sanders on this one too, but to cut off the show in mid-stream? That's a little over-the-top. And holy cow, isn't this something you would think they'd do on a right-wing station!? Bad move. I think they're cutting their foot off if they drop Hartmann. He's a wonderful asset to our cause.

Since the show was broadcasting something which sounded as if it could have come from Rush Limbaugh and which Shelby feels strongly about, I can understand her wish not to use her bandwidth airing that viewpoint.

17. Well I understand that but

doesn't that kind of behavior kind of defeat the purpose? Will she actually be able to fill her airwaves with opinions not just from the left but only those that exactly match her views on each issue? And will how much appeal will that have to the audience? It just seems narrow to me.

But if she didn't like how Thom handled Sanders - I sure don't like the way she handled Thom. I've donated to her in the past. I'm not motivated to do so again because of this style.
