Powell repeating same BS on CNN.
This crock of shit ain't gonna fly. He says they were on the aid situation immediately. Bullshit. They released $100,000 to each nation afflicted and shut up. If the world hadn't pointed out these stingy fuckers that's all they would have given. Me thinks ye protests toooo much mr. colin.

2. oh, he doesn't care.
Edited on Sun Jan-02-05 12:39 PM by The Zanti Regent
He sold his soul to the Devil years ago. Colinoreo has no conscience, he lied any lie for his neoconstipated masters and he gladly killed my only child. When it comes to Colinoreo, Harry Belafonte was right!

My only child was killed in Iraq.

I bet this worthless asshole sat down to Xmas dinner with all the trimmings with his sack of shit son.

Meanwhile, my significant other and I tried to eat, but we wound up crying at the empty chair at our table, a chair that cannot be filled ever again.

I wonder why Mikey didn't go to Iraq.

Why wonder, it's obvious my boy died in Mikey's place.

4. My sympathy for your loss.
Edited on Sun Jan-02-05 12:43 PM by Cleita
I also lost my husband just before the holidays, although he died of old age, not war. I think we seriously are going to have to do everything we can to send these awful people to prison. Voting them out of office is no longer an option. They need to suffer and be humiliated for the pain they have caused.

3. Did you hear him say,
"We don’t accept that definition of giving."

There are different definitions of giving?

5. What's with Powell?
Geez! The guy used to be normal.

When did he sell his soul?

It's as if he went into the Bush Administration semi-normal and reasonable--and emerged a soulless creep.

There were many reports that he was the voice of reason in cabinet meetings. Why, when he's on his way out--is he speaking like he's one of the evil BushCo thugs?

Maybe he's playing it up--faking it--to keep himself alive until he publishes his tell-all book.

Ahhhh..we can only hope.

7. Being around the rich elite makes you want to be rich and elite.
Why did he sell his soul? He wasn't using it.

9. I never worshipped at the alter of Colin Powell.
In 1990 I was against the first Gulf War and knew that he was a stooge for his corporate and political masters. I did not understand why people thought he was all that.

He is a career military man who got as far as he did by sucking up and obeying orders.

15. I was thinking along the same lines
I was watching the interview and thinking "That man doesn't believe a word he's saying." I really didn't get the impression that he believed in what he was telling Wolf.

8. The bottom line is that we've gotten Bush to pledge at least 300 million
Which translates to roughly 500 million with the cost of deployment. Eventually we'll end up flooding that place with billions in both public and private money. I'm uncomfortable in over-politicizing this, it looks like taking advantage of mass suffering.

10. Pledging and releasing the funds are two
entirely different things. Let's see if the money is actually released.

16. Powell is now back to being an economic hitman
Edited on Sun Jan-02-05 06:56 PM by nascarblue
But he's now in the private sector where the big bucks are. Remember he went to OPEC last month? And now he's on a barn burning PR tour of the Sunday news programs? He's throwing out that propaganda to cover their dirty deeds. Isn't it amazing that even with possibly a MILLION dead, they still only see dollar signs? That should tell everyone, red state or blue state, just how evil and corrupt our current government is. When you look back at all the Reagan crimes, and you realize all those people were eventually pardoned by Bush 41, It makes you realize that these maniacs are on a bloodthirsty crusade.

If any of you haven't read Confessions of an Economic Hitman by John Perkins, there's a webcast interview with him that you MUST see. Here's the link, I think it will explain why Jeb, Powell and the World Bank are headed to Indonesia.

is merely applying for his next job. The most valuable value to
Corps. is loyalty. Colon is showing that he is loyal to his masters.
