If I were independently wealthy...
...I'd contact an aid agency and volunteer to go to Southeast Asia to help the tsunami victims in any way I could. I'd dig graves, I'd clear debris, I'd do whatever I was physically capable of doing to make things even a little bit easier for those people at this dark, dark time in their lives.

Unfortunately, I'm not independently wealthy. I have a job that requires my presence five days a week. Consequently, I can't volunteer to go to Asia to help the tsunami victims, and it frustrates the hell out of me!

I do, however, plan to give money to...well, somebody. Problem is, there are so many different organizations out there, I don't know who to send the money to! Any suggestions?

1. You know who is independently wealthy?
The bush clan.

Oh and the cheneys.

Ahem.

I gave money to redcross.org

Doctors Without Borders said they got so many donations they literally don't need anymore and are asking that people send money to other organizations such as the Red Cross.

Others here might have other suggestions for you.

At Costco you can do a donation directly to the Red Cross right in the checkout line! (Of course, being a Dem company! No surprise!)

2. OK, the Red Cross sounds good.
I'll give them a few bucks when I get paid later this week. Thanks for the info! :hi:

5. Does that surprise anyone?
I'd be surprised if that man *ever* gives anything to charity.
