A special Republican Campaign Committee task force instructed candidates there was no way to win votes with the Bush Social Security plan.

Contemporary Republicans are poster children for saying anything to get elected.

Bush himself was pretty well mum on the subject until immediately after the 2004 election. Now he's going to spend that "political capital" and so are his minions.

No surprises here.

3. The POINT is, rethugs KNOW this SS plan is BULLSHIT.

They KNEW that in 2002, which is why they told their own candidates to RENOUNCE bush's SS plan.

The SAME SS PLAN bush & the rethugs are now praising.

Sure would be nice if this FACT got out into the mainstream.

Just ONE QUESTION from the US StenoMedia would do it:

"WHY are you now praising the SAME PLAN you warned your candidates to RENOUNCE in 2002?"

Of course the US StenoMedia won't bother asking any such question.

4. Yup ..on the campaign trail the repukes didn't talk about it at all

and they belittled any Democrat that warned the populace that they were planning to fuck up the system.
