Powell on Meet the Presstitute. Anybody watching?
Edited on Sun Sep-07-03 09:30 AM by FlashHarry
Russert's bringing up some good stuff (John Bolton's "the end of North Korea is our policy" and the VF article about the Saudi/Bin Laden uninvestigated flight from the US post 9/11), but as usual, he's delivering it softball style.

When confronted with the Bin Laden flight to SA after 9/11, he said "I don't know if that's accurate." I thought that had been confirmed, finally. Hmmm.

GOP chief Gillespie and Dem chief McAuliffe up next. (9:30 am CST)

2. Basically, the main points were as I said, above.
He sounded quiet and disingenuous. He seemed 'whipped.'

in bed with someone else - furiously continuing to lie. They couldn't tell the truth to save their lives!

8. Normally, I cringe when Terry talks.
But he is doing well, so far.

Gillespie accusing Dem candidates of 'political hate speech.'

6. Powell's mannerism makes me dizzy
Yeah, I watched Colin Powell lie and twist words and paint glorious pictures with all his fucking flowery rhetoric.

Wish I had used my time prudently.

13. Powell's rhetoric is listless and detached
Powell sounds bored trying to continue to defend the indefensible. They would do so much better to just admit "Hey, we screwed up". But instead he and Rice today still seem completely in denial.
