4. Not easy to summarize in a quick, short answer.
You could go and lurk on the Clark supporters forum to get some idea of why some of us love him so much. If you get a star, you could even say hi to us over there and, as an extra added bonus, you would also be able to post in the DFA forum.:)

5. I don't get this adoration of politicians
I choose to support one or another when the time comes, but that's the extent of it. I don't adore any of them or claim an identity based on who I supported in the primary, as so many on DU seem to do. Someone will need to explain this to me.
I know your post is intended in fun, but I've been wondering about this for quite a while.

6. As a bisexual woman, I am stone solid lover of Howard Dean.
I love his charisma and his courage. There are a lot of Deaniacs still becuase he is still on fire and a solid democratic message. But, it's more than that he is an honest guy. He tells the truth and speaks his mind, plus he was a damn good governor of VT. He is also sort of part of my family because my cousin Sarah campaigned for him in VT. Sarah's father, my uncle, blessed the civil unions of two lesbian couples in VT, that means alot to me...
So, I'll always love Dean and identify with him in someway.

8. I'm with you, Imenja
While there are certainly politicians that I like and admire (Howard Dean and Wes Clark the most passionately adored darlings of DU are certainly among them) I don't get the hero worship thing.

Maybe it's just me.

7. I'm a bigtime Deaniac
not sure I'm in love with him and all that stuff.

I respect him because he is unafraid to tell it like it is. I admire him because he is right, and often the "rightness" of what he says gets "righter" with time. I respect and admire him, and I don't remember any presidential candidate who ran and lost the nomination that has held the interest of his supporters and even gained more.

Many old timers, like me, think Dean's campaign resembled Bobby Kennedy's.

9. Dean for DNC.
I'm not gonna be so brash as to suggest he'll be Karl's worst nightmare, but I think the DNC needs Howard a LOT more than they need any of the DLC-Approved prospects.

NOT Tim Roemer!
