What Armstrong Williams did is called "Cash for Comments"...

It was a very catchy term used when we caught some of our own prominent media personalities doing this kind of thing a couple of years ago. Much easier to frame the issue.

5. 2 of the most popular radio hosts...

on the Australian airwaves were discovered to have secret contracts with major corporations to say nice things about them and their products. It got so bad that these hosts would use it to shake down a company... for example, they would criticize the shit out of a bank and then contact the bank and offer to say nicer things for a fee.

Nobody knew that they were being paid for these "objective" opinions.

seems to be a 'cash for comment' existence. He goes beyond logic to pimp many causes.

The right wing cabal must love it when they get people to do it for free.

I sometimes think the calls to Washington Journal are too professional sounding to be common citizens.

Is Karen Ryan considered to be a common citizen or was she an actress?

What also needs to be emphasized when discussing paid propaganda is that the cpns (corporate propaganda netowrks) are the go-betweens, the facilitators, the accomplices in the crime.

3. Armstrong's hyprocracy: NAACP and Sex Harassment

Go to www.rawstory.com, or www.bluelemur.com to read about Armstrong's chastisement of the NAACP over sexual harassment claims....right around the same time he settled his own sexual harassment lawsuit. Seems he likes to make strong advances to male physical-trainer types. I am beginning to wonder if ALL these upstanding conservative types are confused about their sexuality. At the very least, they are all hypocrites, setting themselves up as arbitors of what is decent....a la OLielly and a million others I could name.

4. I have a theory on that

I suspect that's why they see homosexuality as such a threat - because they have homosexual tendencies they are trying to repress, so they assume everyone does.

A totally straight person wouldn't see gay marriage as a threat to straight marriage, but someone struggling with closet homosexuality would see it as a temptation that people fall prey to.

Anyway, I'm glad to see Bernie Williams is still getting some press.

damn, they are all queers.

And us queers don't even count them in, but if we include them the population should be 2 in 10 not one in ten.
