Nanny 9-11 Show on FOX last night was FANTASTIC! Anyone else see?
The look on the mother's face when she was informed she was the problem not the kids was priceless.

And then her transformation to being a good mom. It really was one of the best TV shows I've ever seen--and it was on FOX.

The Nanny is using the STEP Method to make the family functional--it's very smart and positive!

Anybody else catch it??

1. Yes. I saw a bit of myself in that mom...
and I am a better parent today (than yesterday) for having watched it.

2. I saw an earlier one
- or maybe it was the episode you saw as a rerun? That one. too had a cave-in Mom and the Nanny had a "chat" with her. I wanted to slap the mother silly for sleeping with her kid instead of her husband and caving in to every whine.

I somehow doubt the "reformed" behavior lasted too long after the filming - unless the husband managed to assert himself for the sake of the family.

I have a hard time believing that any method can take root in a week, but if they revisit the family later in the year, I will gladly change my mind.

3. This was not the cave-in mom, it was the crazed
yelling and screaming nuker mom. She seemed to really get it. I think they will be fine. It just points out the need for parenting classes in high school that teach this to everyone.

98% become parents!

4. I've been watching it
every week. It surprised me. Sounded goofy but turned out to be pretty good.
