maltreatment of detainees, dereliction of duty, maltreatment of subordinates, aggravated assault, indecent acts....5 charges in all.

Gen. Karpinsky then the problem will have been dealt with. Any detainees that are suspected of being part of the "Insurgency" will be sent to a secret prison in Afghanistan or another country.

A lot of people seem to believe in the false dichotomy of if-you-support-the-grunt's-conviction-then-you-don't-want-the-brass-as-well.

I want them all. The guys who did it, AND the guys who ordered it.

Is that so hard to understand?

5. They put Manson away for ordering murder
and they put Nazi war criminals away too, men who never sullied their hands with the blood of millions of innocents, only ordered it.

Mad dog killers in expensive suits. Unfortunately, only the subordinate soldiers will be punished, just as we all predicted.
