1. Steward had video a couple weeks ago
Daily Show had a segment of soldiers kinking in / ripping off doors.

Guess this is how we are winning hearts and planting the seeds of democracy.

Can you say "search warrant" and "probable cause"?

2. Maybe that's why bush* fired those gay translators, since they couldn't
translate those phrases, they didn't make it into Bremers Iraqi Law Book.

That and he didn't want his receipts to obl translated.

4. I Hope You're all watching
the election PR on MSM. It's now about overseas Iraqis voting in the Iraq election, while the majority of Iraqis are under siege in their own homes. What an awful world we live in.

5. Just imagine
Just imagine if you will a comely little Baptist town in East Texas.

Now imagine if occupying soldiers from a foreign army, who subscribed to a foreign religion, busted down those people's doors in midnight raids, searched their homes without warrants, imposed curfews, rounded up all the young men for random reasons, abused and tortured them in prisons and mocked their Christian beliefs. What do you think they would do? I know Americans, and I know Texans. They would fight like hell to drive the occupiers out of their country and their town.

8. And arrest them , detain them in Saddam Hussein's jails, torture them,
shoot them ,bomb them...I'm not sure what other think, but these elections seem totally illegitimate since its been created by an illegal foreign invasion and occupation.

12. I would like to know...
what the context is behind the photos of those soldiers kicking those doors in and performing searches. I kicked in a few doors myself and we found numerous weapons caches and even some militia that had perpetrated some attacks on us. Rule of law, probable cause and search warrants mean little in a war zone. Especially when fighting an insurgency in an urban environment.
