More proof that the media protects the moron in the White House...
Any other time, if any president would be wasting over 40 million dollars on a second inauguration during a time of war, it would be mentioned more than what already has. Imagine the outcry of the rabid biased press if it were Clinton or Gore or Kerry's second inaguaration?

I rest my case.

2. $40 million - and I walked by a guy sleeping under a bridge last night
Cuts in the social safety net + a lousy economy.

I walked past a guy getting under some old blankets...he was going to sleep on the sidewalk under a bridge. It was about 42 degrees and damp here. I was cold sleeping in my house....

Meanwhile, the royal family of America is having a huge tax payer funded party, and churches & corporations contuinue to avoid paying taxes.

3. I heard a moron-american argue the other day that our current
conditions were in effect when the big celebration for Clinton's library occured, and no one complained.

Of course, he didn't take into account that Clinton didn't get us into this war . . .

4. And also, Clinton isn't the president who started this war.
But I doubt it ended up costing over 40 million.

6. This is very true
What a waste of money. Not only for the inauguration. Look at the cost that is not being paid for by bush supporters, like the security that is coming out of Washington DC homeland security fund.

I say give B*sh a roll of duct tape and plastic and he will be fine. Look at all of the money we could save.

8. Not to mention
That Stupidhead is sticking the District of Columbia with the tab for the added security, to tune of more than $10 million, which isn't included in the budgeted amount. No previous president has done this. Ever. And so DC is dipping into their Homeland Security funding to cover Chimpy's special day, take two.
