It's Tuesday.Who killed Bobby Kennedy? New evidence has emerged..
and pressure is mounting on authorities to reopen the case of Sirhan Sirhan, who was convicted of Kennedy's assassination. The circumstances are being resurrected in a new book titled "Nemesis" by Peter Evans. Look for the article in yesterdays London Independent here: www.news.independent.co.uk/world/americas/story.jsp?story=601960

Does it matter enough for America to live with the burden of self knowledge?

1. Yes and they'll close the book on this too.
Just as they did on MLK's death, when people came forward and implicated the CIA in that, too. The charges were "inconclusive", it was decided, in 2000.

2. Maybe Jack Nicholson was right in "A Few Good Men"
Col. Jessep: You want answers?
Kaffee: I think I'm entitled.
Col. Jessep: You want answers?
Kaffee: I want the truth.
Col. Jessep: You can't handle the truth.

4. Anyone here about the fleeing woman in the red polka dot dress?
There was a story on NPR several years ago about her.

6. she ran down the stairs shouting "we shot him,"
right after the assassination. Might've been connected to the ranch where Sirhan worked as a stable hand (and where he met his "handlers," if I recall).

One of many leads deliberately not looked into by the LAPD "investigation" of the shooting.

5. My brother said there were indications that Sirhan knew about 9-11...
beforehand. My brother is a correctional officer. He didn't give me specifics, but that was the buzz in the prison system.

7. If true, I hope this story gets legs.
When Republicans in this country can see the extreme, undemocratic lengths that their side have gone to to maintain a system which is bankrupting America, they may begin to understand that the only way to purify themselves is to break with their party and to bow to the will of the people.
