As I Watched Dem Senators Re: Rice... I Began To Wonder About Wellstone !!
No... I'm not gonna get into a litany of EMP, or misaligned guidance system theories here. I have not seen enough evidence to prove to me, that Wellstone was killed. OTOH - If that evidence were to ever present itself, I would be outraged, but I would NOT be shocked. I don't put ANYTHING past these bastards. And if they did kill a Democratic Senator, they certainly picked the right one for their fascist ends!

What I'm talking about... is Wellstone allied with Boxer at these hearings. Or even just his feelings about Rice stated openly on the Senate floor. He would have been powerful, and he would have been awesome. He would have run circles around most of the rest, and probably would have caused more than JUST TWO to vote against Condee.

I live in CA, so I have Feinstein holding Rice's hand and giving gushing platitudes to tanker-girl for all the world to see, but I also have the warrior Boxer who makes me extremely proud.

Right there you have a snapshot of the Democratic Party from the largest blue-state in the Union. A pair of bookends. Unfortunately, Boxer seems to be struggling mightily to bear the weight of the fight. While Feinstein has decided to join all the other 'ends' in political blandness and self-serving comity. :puke:

Paul... we miss you more than you will ever know.

And Barbara... YOU GO GIRL!!!

1. Be proud of Boxer.
You're lucky to have her. So are the rest of us.

2. The Wellstone crash was not an accident.
I'm a pilot with over 5000 hours. I study every piece of information I can get on all major crashes. The Wellstone incident could not have been an accident unless two seasoned pilots were inept enough to cruise around at 100 ft about the ground for several minutes and not notice either the altimeter, the airspeed and the stall warning horn. No way. Even a drunk pilot wouldn't have been that clueless.

The FBI arrived almost immediately, took charge of the wreck site. Made sure that the plane burned for hours and then gave their version of what happened. The Carnathan accident a few months earlier was equally suspicious.

4. Wellstone would have kicked her ass
But he would have been so pleasant as he did it.
