How sick are these people??!??!?!?!??!?!?
Sean Hannity on www.crooksandliars.com, at the end of the Peggy Noonan video clip says that we need to defeat terrorism, despotism and LIBERALISM?!?!?!

He's referring that liberals are in the same league as terrorists. Hannity is an asshole, but even that shocked me.

7. I honestly think we need to find a word to bastardize like they did...
... with the word liberal.

They need to have a label on them for once.

9. Naw, it has to be something that they already accept, like we did...
... the word liberal. If we could turn the word republican, conservative, or moral into a club we would be doing ourselves a HUGE favor.

Once they are labeled they are boxed in.

19. Well, I have been using
"compassionate conservative" as an epithet quite a bit. They're also gearing up to using "moral majority" all over again. There's a couple of ripe phrases.

10. Not too harsh
It is appropriate to keep in mind the infamous regimes of the previous century that waged war (mass murder, really) on liberals, intellectuals, intelligentsia, etc., when considering the potential of the current reich-wing movement.

13. Among Hannity's friends the term "liberalism" is code for
those who are on to our scam and we must , therefore, silence before they have time to exert any influence.

15. I prefer to be called an insurgent
When a foreign power invades your country and occupies it for the sake os stealing the natural resources and pushing their own political agenda, the true patriots in that country become insurgents.

Well, the psycho-right-wing-fascists are here, and I am an insurgent.

17. I prefer the label freedom fighter. Insurgent is a neo-con sounding word.
And the neo-cons are just good at stealing elections. And starting needless war crimes. And I want to fight to be free from that. So call me a freedom fighter and not an insurgent. They come after me I want to have something urgent for their nazi asses.

16. We don't need a new word. We just need to say "conservatives are evil"
If we use a new name most people won't know who we are talking about. We just need to fight back and get the word out. At the end of John Perkin's book "Confessions of and Economic Hit Man" he give a lot of prescriptions for fighting the cabal that acts in the name of our government, pretends to be government, all the while bad mouthing government. We just need to have the courage and will to take them on.

25. The reason he can say
"terrorism, despotism and liberalism" is because these things are different. He may as well say "terrorism, despotism and goodness". "Terrorism, despotism and neoconservatism" does not work because these things are not different - neoconservatism IS terrorism and it is despotism.

Christianity was founded on "love thy neighbor," not "tax breaks for SUVs." Is he saying we should end Christianity too?

What a numbnut.

28. It's an old playbook...
"The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."
