Inauguration fit for a Stepford Nation.

As I listened to Mr.Bush speak at the inauguration, it was clear that he was assaulting the English language stripping the meaning of "freedom" and "liberty".At the same time he was also insulting our intelligence and collective memory of what has transpired in the past four years.

But you would be hard put to get the same reaction in the faces of any of his audience which, to a man/woman appeared to have the glzed look of those who are worshipping a pagan deity. Their wild appause at empty words shorn of their meaning made me think of the Stepford Wives and I have called our poor country the Stepford Nation.We are gradually being stripped of any ability to think rationally and comment on things through our own personal observations.Those who claim to do so are becoming full time paid propagandists.

These people are fools. And to think he just sold them on the idea that if we don't go everywhere and spread tyranny (I mean freedom) then we will lose our freedom and liberty. Our very existence depends on spreading freedom fire everywhere. Who knew? I'm totally amazed.
