I was an atheist, agnostic, buddhist, new ager, baptist, pentecostal, lutheran, and now my own flow sort of christian and I am personally bothered by some out there who have went off (as mom used to say, God bless her soul) the deep end.

I had a good discussion with one of my engineers the other night about religion (he is a jehovah's witness) and we both pretty much fell into a more liberalized view of things. I respect that each sect has it's ideas and beliefs (which is why they, like any group from politics to philosophy, group themselves under a name/term) but I cannot fathom at times how people get so caught up and carried away on things like this.

My daughter and I love spongebob. My brother, a mormon leaning catholic, watches it all the time and loves it. I think these folks would be better serving the lord by going out and doing something positive for others and turning off the TV.

He'd say "gosh darn." And then he'd probably say something like, "You barnacle biter!" or "Go eat at the Chum Bucket" or something.

Putting on a red headband, cutting his bicep with a Kaybar while he stares into the mirror...Buying guns...lining his pineapple with tinfoil...
