Themes/bumperstickers for '06:

"Check Bush" - Supports "restoring checks and balances" to the federal government by electing Democrats to congress, also "restores accountability" and ending the "Republican Rubberstamp". Democrats elected on this platform will have an implicit mandate to support investigations and possibly impeach Bush and gang based on what those investigations find.

"Plow the Fields of Democracy: Support Proportional Representation" - A little long, but conveys the idea of rejuvenating our democracy by "stirring things up at the ground level" by making state legislatures elected via proportional represenation, which should be passed via public initiative or referendum in states where this is possible. This is important to end the two-party duopoly that allows our democratic system to become static and corrupted.

3. Class warfare slogans!
Launching a class warfare may be the only way to reach Republicans. They will not budge on their religious "morality" positions but may come to resent the Republican elitists for taking food off of their tables.

End Corporatracy!
Support the Middle Class: Limit Outsourcing
Just Say No to Corporate Welfare!
Stop the Rise of the Republican Elitist Class

This is better suited for grass roots groups, and the wheat paste, staple gun crowd.
Both of us are looking to define or branding bush, and his party's agenda/mindset.

That is just part of it. We also need to promote our agenda. Once we define the repugs, we need to present an alternative vision. That is the hard part.

First read George Lakoff's "Don't Think of an Elephant."
