World Renowned Critic of US Interventionism Targeted for Assassination

Walden Bello, executive director of Focus on the Global South, and one of the world's most articulate and widely published critics of corporate globalization has been targeted for assassination. Bello and fourteen other Filipino activists have been singled out as "counterrevolutionaries." Two have been assassinated with another being forced into hiding.
