How many in Bush Administration does it take to screw in a light bulb?
None. There is nothing wrong with the light bulb... its conditions are improving every day. Any reports of its lack of incandescence are a delusional spin from the liberal media. That light bulb has served honorably, and anything you say undermines the lighting effect. Why do you hate freedom?

1. We had no way of knowing that the light bulb had burned out
Had we known, we would have done everything in our power to change it. We would have moved heaven and earth.

The PDB we got a month ago, the one that said "Light Bulb in hallway flickering, will burn out very soon." ... that was just historical. It was about light bulbs that had burned out in the past.

4. None.
It was Clinton's fault the light bulb burned out in the first place, because he was too busy getting blowjobs to replace the light bulb. If he had taken care of the light bulb during his term, we would not have the horror of a burned-out bulb. So instead of changing it, let's just invade....um.....Bangladesh!

5. I hope you're not impugning the lightbulb's credibility or integrity.

6. As you know...
...you have to go to the bathroom with the light bulb you have, not the light bulb you want.

... bill.

Social Security revenues come from the salaries and wages of the working class. When we lose ten million jobs from full employment and as those jobs (below $90K/year) are paid less and less (in order to increase corporate profits), then the Social Security revenues decline.

The projections that Doom&Gloom use to forecast depletion of the Trust Fund by 2042 or 2052 (Trustees and CBO, respectively) incorporate the assumptions that Bush/Reagan/Neocon economics (rich get richer at the expense of the working class).

Social Security is the canary in the working class coal mine.

To protect Social Security ...
(1) increase the Federal Minimum Wage (now at its lowest in 50 years!) in annual steps of $0.25/hour to $6.00/hour (in 2000 dollars).
(2) create a 20% FIT credit for Social Security taxes (this would result in a "negative income tax" for low income workers, but not be a 'giveaway' to high income workers).
(3) require all corporate executive officer compensation to be accounted as a distribution of earnings, NOT labor.
(4) OUTLAW forced retirement and penalize the layoff of older workers (effectively forcing early retirement).
(5) VIGOROUSLY penalize employers of undocumented workers.
(6) Fix health care, helping create a healthier work force.
(7) gradually increase the "full benefits" retirement age to 68, one month per year over the next 12 years.

10. The burning out of the lightbulb is proof of the correctness of our policy
of "Global War On Illumination." The Great Lord Almighty has willed it and the people see that darkness is a true American Value as put forth by our Founding Fathers.
