poor Henry Nau of GWU has a new article out trying very hard to

justify the republicans. he divides them into 3 groups so we can better understand them. and he gives the 3 groups different names as if renaming the criminals will help us love them better.

Henry, take off your rosy glasses.

I wouldn't want to be one of your students having to listen to this blather.

(don't have link - the article was in a political magazine)

Trying to understand the Republicans is a good idea in my mind. They aren't going anywhere, and there are points of agreement with some of them, that we might build on.

But even if you don't think we can work with any Republicans, it's still good to understand the inherent contradictions in the Republican Party in order to split their support (which is a technique they've been using successfully on us for a long time).

the bushgang has spent decades invading everything. another example is NASA. the overthrow of NASA is finished, it belongs to the gang.
