7. I've never heard the press speculate on this before, but . . .
He must have suffered some damage to his facial muscles or nerves at some point in his life -- maybe a mini-stroke one of the times he was on the table getting his heart (sic) started again.

I have to agree that it is not pathological (in the physical sense) -- it is a sneer. His face froze into this mask after decades of contempt for democracy and decency.

The Mouth of Sauron kinda looks like him -- maybe Cheney was the model for this makeup in LOTR.


Cheney looks the way he does for the same reason the Mouth of Sauron looks the way he does.
