It was quite anti-Bush. Noah Wylie's character was ranting about big drug companies and how they are the biggest lobby in Washington, and politically motivated. Later, one of the characters was trying to get one of the reporters from the Chicago Tribune out of the hospital and made a comment insinuating that they were stupid for "endorsing Bush."

1. Somewhat interesting considering

that Michael Crichton is a producer, though I don't know that he has been actively involved for a long time - he was mainly a developer of the series.

4. I saw it too
but what about the very end. Had a lot of cross talk here but it seemed that the patient had arthritis and it was the drug that let him do things that he hadn't been able to do in years. Like they had to get in the good that pharmas did at the end.

5. That's one of the drugs like Vioxx
that causes heart attack and stroke. That's why the sad look on Carter's face. It was another hit on the drug companies for running ads that prompt people to go in and tell their Dr.s that they want the drug they saw on T.V.
