The bookshelves at airports and bookstores are loaded with RW
propoganda. I spent my time between flights recently turning over and reshelving book titles such as "Do Gooders...How Liberals Hurt Those They Claim to Help", and "Bush Country : How Dubya Became a Great President While Driving Liberals Insane". :eyes:

The CONS' books outnumber REAL books five to one. It's ridiculous. You have to wonder if these people are also being paid to publish this filth.

Unfortunately, the shelves were half full meaning people are buying this stuff. No wonder there are so many hard core wingnuts.

To make matters worse, the other day Jeneane Garafollo said there are something like 40,000 hours of conservative radio a week compared to 3,000 progessive hours.

I cannot think of a more important cause than the one David Brock is lobbying for: reimplementing the truth in fairness act.

America has been sold out,it is survival of the greedy now,if you stand for justice and equality you are a bad guy.

4. I'm glad I don't live near any bases
Even when my hubby was in the Navy, I always bought my books at places like B & N.

5. Airport in Columbia, SC
Actually had a lot of liberal books "America" by the DS staff, Some Chomsky, of all things, the bush survival guide. I was a little surprised.

7. I got "What's the Matter with Kansas" at the Atlanta airport
It wasn't carried in any of the bookstores of the town I had just left (in Kansas...hmmm). Atlanta airport also had some other great books that I already owned.

I bought F911 and Control Room at an army PX.

I got Blinded by the Right and The Republican Noise Machine at the PX. As well as the Daily Show's book, America, and Confession of an Economic Hitman. Other good books, too...including Michael Moore and Al Franken.

I'm always surprised at what the PX carries and snatch things up before someone complains.

10. read an article once about how they stock these shelves
and they are ruthless, if a book doesn't sell it's pulled within a day and replaced. Books that sell are left on.

But then think who many of the business travelers are, uppermiddle class to rich white collar white guys. i.e. Rush's audience.

I just bring my own. The only thing I buy in the airport book stores are floaty pens (I love those things!~)

11. It's all about money, and the freeps are willing to buy...
this shit. I really think that about 25% of America is blindly following anything the Republicans are saying, doing, and promoting.

It's like someone who is abusive. They were probably abused themselves as a child... or saw their father being abusive to their mother.

They believe that women and minorities are beneath them. They have been taught that being pro-gun, pro-war, and being racist is okay... as long as you also pretend to be a good christian.

They are okay with their beliefs, because they were raised to turn out this way.

The other 15% of the right are either ignorant(stupid) or apathetic. Go figure!!
