New Group Proposal: The Daily Show and Jon Stewart

Would anyone be interested in a new DU group for discussions of The Daily show and Jon Stewart?

I propose that the group be used to:

1) Promote upcoming topics and guests

2) Link to the latest segments on The Daily Show website

3) Discuss guests, topics and issues covered on The Daily Show

4) Discuss and promote upcoming appearances by Jon Stewart, Lewis Black, and other Daily Show cast in film, on TV, and live performances.

5) Post cute pictures of Jon singing with Elmo

about the show is that he takes so many vacations and instead of having a sub, they do repeats. I'd rather have a sub so that I could get my daily dose of the dailyshow and stay sane.

Well, not dissent...but, I first learned of TDS through the DU boards. If there remains no discussion there, we might not be spreading the good word! Of course, count me in, but don't forget to talk him up at the main boards too to spread that Jon Kind Of Love.

That was my first thought, too - aybe we can remember to start other threads in GD (sorry!) or give them some of the "best of" this forum sometimes.

BTW, I'd like to be part of this forum too!
