21. no shit. Theres 401k, theres Roth IRA, the Keogh thing
for self-employed people, some people get pensions.

Shame on her for going along with the repuke agenda of taking away freedoms we DO have and "giving" us freedoms we don't need or already have.

5. me.....and other states' employees
school employees in Louisiana do not contribute toward SS (just in the past few years is it mandatory)...we have our own pension/retirement division and elect officers/overseers to manage it. My understanding is that many states' employees do not contribute to SS.

Any teachers who have paid into both systems....SS and state retirement systems, CANNOT double dip, they can't collect from both systems...thanks, repukes

16. If public employees pay into both,
why can't they collect both? Or, why can't they even be reimbursed from one for just the amount they contributed? Or, why are they mandated to have to pay into both?
