Kennedy: "The U.S. military presence has become part of the problem, not a part of the solution. We need a serious course correction, and we need it now."

An R's response: ""What he's suggesting is either impractical or already being done."

6. Ted remains one of the few Dem senators one can be proud of.
His nephew RFK Jr said recently that 95% of Republicans were corrupt, and 75% of Democrats. One might quibble with the numbers (I'd put it at 99% R's and 85% D's, myself) but no matter how you cut it, Ted is a member of that select group still deserving of respect.
