their country. It's like "thank you for liberating my country, but I'm staying away from that hell hole" Why don't they go back and help out instead of sitting on their butts and telling everyone how glad they are we went to war.

1. It couldn't be scripted better if it
came from Hollywood! I've seen at least 20 American Iraqi's thanking Bush and America for their freedom and crying and high fiving each other.

2. Does iraqi law allow them to vote or Bush law allow them to vote?
How do they prove citizenship and voting rights when they left Iraq 20, 30 years ago?
How do we know they did not renounce citizenship when they left their country?
How rigged is this whole scenario anyhow?

Dammit, there I go asking pesky questions again.

9. What difference could it possibly make? The "votes" are already tallied.
They have been since the election and the designated stooge were announced.

10. that's what I was wondering. When I was watching some of the US
Iraqis voting, I was thinking are they dual citizens? What's the story?

All the middle class and upper class Iraqis that went to Jordan for safety... I wonder if they are voting there too.

4. It's like Miami Cubans saying we should invade Cuba.
What is that figure I read- something like 65-70% of Cubans are black? But the Miami Cubans certainly aren't. The nobility want their castles back.

7. Please. Theres no need to villainize these folks
I can remember South African aquaintances being similarly happy when that regime collapsed. And they have never been back to their homeland either. Dont take the casual words of people in euphoria out of context; they have relatives back home and whatnot.

Direct your feelings where it truly belongs, at the top, not at some poor, powerless little creature at the bottom of the foodchain.

11. Native country
Iraq is their native country. While they might be happy to see it no longer controlled by a horrible dictator, they are under no obligation to leave their adopted home (the U.S.). Should all German-Americans have left after WWII and returned home since Hitler was gone?
