11. Well... yeah!
But see the post below. If Cheney bit the big one, actually I think Junior would get to name a successor for him. So Hastert wouldn't come in. Hastert would only get his big chance if both Bush and Cheney were to go (saints preserve us!)

8. There is no line of succession for VP
Remember Gerald Ford???? Remember Nelson Rockefeller????

The sitting President picks a new toady. He'll probably pick Con-de-lies-ah....and check off the first woman, first African American blocks, to further burnish his "liberal" credentials for the idiots who are completely unaware of what he is actually doing.

10. But wait, if, HEAVEN FORBID,
Bush and Cheney were to die in a common disaster (Lord save us from such a horror!), then I think Hastert would be the successor.

If, OTOH, Cheney died, or had to step down due to, say, an indictment or something, then Junior would name his successor VP.

6. If only we had "fashion victims" instead of dead people.
I am convinced that Unca Dick is guilty of so much evil that bad clothing choices really seems insignificant somehow.

If you'd lost a kid over in Iraq fighting in our services in an illegal invasion or if you lost anyone on 9/11, I suspect your anger for Cheney would focus less on his wardrobe and more on his illegal activities. I suppose you could make the argument, however, that bad clothing choices reflect other bad moral choices...

As far as that goes, my guess is rummy and his boss--the asswipe-should be wearing clown suits if bad outfits reflect poor morals. I have no idea WHAT you'd have to put on Condi to reflect he moral bankruptcy.
