enjoy today... ALL MEDIA ENDS tomorrow, you know....
yes, the MICHAEL JACKSON TRIAL begins tomorrow.

MJ's statement today was, of course, less important than glorifying the boyking's advance of FREEDOM and victory of LIBERTY with the Iraqi 'elections' but...

make NO mistake. corporate news is going to be MICHAEL JACKSON TRIAL 24/7 for most of the 2nd * administration. endless distraction opportunities. they WILL be used.

the tsunami disaster has run out of fresh videotape.
the 'mandate' has been secured
the IRAQI PEOPLE are FREE

but.... MICHAEL JACKSON IS ON TRIAL

condit, peterson, sharks, and jon benets will fade like the last chilean bus crash.

even the twin pillars of OJ and MONICA will pale.
the death of DI and JFK jr but dim blips on the media radar

MICHAEL JACKSON IS ON TRIAL!

there is no other story that merits our attention.

since then...only the script has been read..overwhelming turnout, the beginning of a new democracy, freedom marches on..blah, blah,blah...so now we have a new script....celeb insanity and obsession to block out news for another week or more.

3. MJ should have just given
them the Elvis and Beatles rights. Sure he is a freak but the 'big boys' are really upset that he owns these treasures. They will not stop until they own them. I will not be watching - thankfully I am really busy these days.

4. I guess now's the time to sign up for Netflix.....
heh heh

but then, I barely watch TV as it is, so it won't really affect me (she said, not without a hint of boastfulness in her voice. ;) )

So glad I haven't watched either cable or main-channel news media since before the election. It has been so peaceful.

As to Michael - this going to sound really, really bad. And I'm going to get flamed - perhaps rightly so. But as poor everyone knows around here, I was in Child Protective Services for seven years. Interviewed literally hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of sexual abuse suspects. And, dare I say? You know one when you see and hear one. The behaviors ... the personality .. the narcissistic mindset ... the juvenile behavior and fixation. He's guilty. Don't know if the jury will see it that way. But, let's put it this way, my kid isn't going to be having a slumber party over at his house anytime soon. Just thinking aloud. Probably should have kept my yap shut. But, let's hope he gets a fair trial, and then we will be done with it (exclusive of the 90 years' worth of appeals).

And, where is the typical pattern of abuse in the family? Well, I think we need to hear that from Michael's eldest sister. Word is, she knows about this.

9. But the big questions are...
If he goes to jail, how will he get his next facial surgery? Will he turn black again? I mean these are important questions.

But on second thought, ifhe goes to jail as a child molester, he won't last long enough for us to get answeres to those questons.

will get lost in the din.

12. Yep. Anything that goes on in Iraq, for better or for worse,
will be forgotten with the next big Hollywood scandal.

15. What about that plane crash in N. Iraq?
I think Blair and Bush admitted that soldiers died in the crash, but HOW MANY? Has this story been smothered by the triumphal elections?
