Rasheed Wallace on White House visit
From the Detroit News today:
http://www.detnews.com/2005/pistons/0501/30/D07-74460.htm

No fan of Bush

To say that Rasheed Wallace is less than thrilled to be meeting President George W. Bush on Monday is an understatement.

When asked about the Pistons' trip to the White House, Wallace said, "I ain't going to say (nothing) to him. I didn't vote for him. I'm not excited at all, it's just part of the thing."

OK then.

"He ain't lying, either," Billups said. "He won't say nothing to him."

Good Man Rasheed. It's nice to see a liberal athlete.

GO PISTONS!

4. 'Sheed's actually calmed down quite a bit
Remember when he led the league in technicals evey year?

A championship and a baby seem to have mellowed him some.

Too bad the T-Wolves didn't win; Spree could've choked *.

(Maybe the Pacers can put it together and we can get Artest and Stephen Jackson into the WH...)

5. He SHOULD say something at least worthy of one technical
it'd probably be too much to ask for two.

7. Probably not liberal
I mean, I doubt he is active in progressive causes. I don't know though, I could be wrong.

He may say the same thing about a Democrat, who knows.

But its funny as hell to see someone not kiss Bush's ass.
