Please e-mail Joe Scarborough re: Lies about Wesley Clark
That moron Joe Scarborough is at it again, spewing lies faster than Bush can take credit for inventing democracy.

This time he dumped a vile load of garbage on Wesley Clark, just out-and-out lying about Clark’s views on the Iraqi election. It was all part of Scarborough's "Iraqi election" hysteria, culminating in an ugly tirade in his MSNBC blog, where he accused Democrats “like Ted Kennedy, Madeline Albright and Wesley Clark”, of “comforting the terrorists”.

Please e-mail MSNBC and say you think that Scarborough should issue an apology (letters@msnbc.com and cc: it to joe@msnbc.com)

A 2-4 sentence e-mail is all that's needed.

It can say something along the lines of:

"Joe Scarborough should apologize to Wesley Clark and other Democrats for what he wrote in his January 29th blog. It’s painfully obvious that Scarborough is making a partisan political attack. If you will review the transcript of Wesley's Clark's January 24th appearance on Scarborough's show, you will see that General Clark repeatedly said he thought holding the elections in Iraq was a great thing and a positive step. MSNBC should be ashamed to print such outright lies and politically-motivated attacks."

(Sure, go ahead, use the paragraph above -- just paste it into your e-mail, making changes as you see fit -- or don't make any changes at all -- we're looking for sheer numbers of e-mails here, not Faulkner-esque prose. When stations get 100 or more e-mails all on the same subject, they’re more likely to pay attention.

This is a link to a post by a DUer who caught Scar-butto red-handed in malicious lies about what Clark said: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x1545023

This is a link to the MSNBC blog where Scarborough dumped his load of crap about Democrats:

Thanks if you can do this……….please kick this post if you think this is worthwhile and let me you any comments/suggestions you have….

1. Are you sure
that you want him to think there are that many people watching his show? I'd like to do something to get him removed from his show.

2. Thats a really good suggestion.
We all know what Scar is all about.....letters of displeasure only feed his ego and solidify his intent....to irritate Democrats.

We need a new direction on everything just about.

6. I don't know -- MSNBC is not Fox
Fox thrives on receiving hate mail from Democrats. GE, the parent company of MSNBC, is much more squeamish about offending big groups of people.

Also (sorry to be so pushy and annoying) Scarborough's blog was right on MSNBC's home page -- you can pretend you saw it on the way to Keith's site...

3. Write to viewerservices and letters
and say you saw the transcript on a blog; explain that it confirms your choice NOT to watch that show. ;)

5. ha, ha, ha - that's all part of my evil plan (laughing maniacally)
Step one, force him into apologizing for this Clark thing.
Step two, keep up the pressure, send MCNBC e-mails every time he says something vile, threaten to boycott advertisers.
Step three, ??? (don't know yet)

(More maniacal laughter)

Sorry, I'm on the east coast and it's late & way past my bedtime.

But really, in answer to your question, his blog was on the MSNBC main page (!!) so you can pretend you saw it when you went to see what Keith O is up to these days.

Realistically, getting him removed is probably too much to hope for, but making him watch his mouth may be a possibility.

7. That's a great idea -- Kucinich is doing a great thing
"Missing" $9 billion is not getting enough attention. (A couple of billion here, a couple of billion there, pretty soon you're talking about real money...)

I'll do a post sometime today -- thanks for the idea!
