How much of w's SOTU shitfest will you watch?

I plan on writing down how many times he says "freedom" and "liberty," "Iraq," "Al Qaida," "social security," "marriage," "steroids," and "Osama Bin Laden."

My projected tally, in that order, is 45, 53, 4, 0, 1, 2, 1, 0.

Anyhow, I don't want The Little Cowboy's nasty electrons slithering into my teevee, polluting and defiling it. It's really hard to autoclave a television.

I just got a new TV a few months ago and I wouldn't trust myself.

He's going to Montana Wed and the tickets are all sold out. The front "men" have been putting the "show" together for a week now. They flew a huge cargo plane in last weekend to deliver all the "props". He's going to get a few sound bites for his ss push.

I believe he's also going to other Red states to push ss. what a coward.

about whatever atrocities he might muster against social security and the American people...but i can't stand him and i will not submit myself to the stress of watching him... it will be stressful enough to read the transcript...but reading it may give me more of a chance to think about what the coward is saying, rather than to just react at what the coward is saying.

I'm really curious to see if he repeats all that imperialist jargon that he spouted at the inauguration. The White House did alot of back-peddling in the days following it, explaining that it wasn't to be taken as some new statement of policy. If it's repeated in the State of the Union, however, then I'll assume it's precisely that.

As much as I hate him, I still want to know what his people are telling him to think.

It's on at 9pm et -- I'll be asleep by then as I have to get up very early in the mornings...

I expect the speech he reads will be just sooooo much blather.

There will be no details of his plans for social security -- whatever he says about it will be filled with fluff and puff and no substance

he'll be "mindful" and "going forward" with his destruction of the economy -- lots of corporate welfare handouts under the guise of "job creation" (btw - is he still in the hole regarding new jobs created?)

Health costs will be blamed on lawyers and law suits.

and as far as Iraq election goes -- watch for a statement to the effect of "..the real winners are the Iraqi people...."

I don't expect anything about Iran specifically -- it will be cloaked with more blather about "bad folk doing bad thing with bad stuff"

Keep your eye out for the "applause" -- how many on which side of aisle jump out and clap enthusiastically? How many had a few shots of kool-aid before the speech?

Immediately following the reading of the speech: Dems will criticize, repugs will kiss-butt
