Prosecution Links Bomb At Alabama Clinic To Rudolph Book

http://www.wsoctv.com/news/4154738/detail.html

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Federal prosecutors in Alabama are laying out more of the evidence they say ties North Carolina resident Eric Rudolph to a deadly abortion clinic bombing.

Prosecutors say in court papers that pieces of the bomb that killed a police officer outside the clinic in Birmingham, Alabama, matched a detonator described in an explosives book ordered by Rudolph.

The government also for the first time revealed that its handwriting expert matched Rudolph's writing to notes jotted in his Bible. The notes included the words "eye for eye" and "Bombs."

Jury selection is set to begin in late March in Rudolph's Alabama trial, and a judge said testimony should start in late May.

8. Less than a year after all the media hullabaloo over William Krar
Outside View: Who is William Krar?

http://www.upi.com/view.cfm?StoryID=20040311-030156-8181r

WASHINGTON, March 14 (UPI) -- Since his appointment as attorney general, John Ashcroft's Washington office has issued 2,295 news releases. Not one of them has mentioned the name William Joseph Krar.

Krar, who is affiliated with several anti-government, white supremacist militia organizations, was apprehended after mailing a package containing false U.N. credentials, Defense Intelligence Agency IDs, phony birth certificates and a forged federal concealed weapons permit to a co-conspirator in New Jersey.

The package came with a note that read, "We would hate to have this fall into the wrong hands." It did. It was delivered to the incorrect address.

An alert citizen contacted the FBI, which led to the arrest of Krar and the discovery of a mind-numbing weapons cache: fully automatic machine guns, remote-controlled explosive devices disguised as briefcases, 60 pipe bombs, nearly 500,000 rounds of ammunition and enough pure sodium cyanide "to kill everyone inside a 30,000 square foot building," according to federal authorities.

And who will ever forget where they were on May 4th of last year?

http://www.dailytexanonline.com/news/2004/05/04/StateLocal/Man-Pleads.Guilty.To.Owning.Cyanide-677872.shtml

William Krar is scheduled to be sentenced in a federal court Tuesday after acknowledging that he possessed enough sodium cyanide to fatally gas everyone in a 30,000-square-foot building, such as a civic center or high school basketball arena. But investigators say they still don't know what Krar intended to do with the deadly materials.

BTW- Krar got a whole ten years.

Wow I have posted a WashTimes AND a UPI article in the same thread.
