Things that will NOT be mentioned in tonight's bush speech:
Osama. Torture. The total failure in Iraq. The next terror attack.
The coming economic crisis. Unemployment. Health care for the poor.
The almost 1,500 dead soldiers. The almost 100,000 dead Iraqis. Armstrong Williams and Maggie Gallagher. The Christian Conservative takeover of our nation. The missing 9 billion. The missing weapons of mass destruction. The impending invasion of Iran, and Syria.
The total failure to protect us on 9-11.

And a host of other things.

But you can be sure that liberty, freedom and the Lord will be repeatedly invoked, ad nauseum.

4. I'm not so sure Iran won't be mentioned
They've been leaking it out little by little to ready the American people for it - to desensitize them to it when it actually happens.

5. Don't forget
The 2 trillion dollar debt part of social security or the fact it will actuallt lower your payouts. The fact that his health care plan will mean less people covered not more. The fact that he's kinda sucked at catching those 9/11 guys or even that Antharax killer. The fact he keeps cutting the science research budget. The fact that he is not regulating CO2 emissions not incouraging the swith over to hybride cars even though the technology is there ready to use. The fact that we already own society and what he's really pushing is the fuck you I'm taken care of society.

7. Bush didn't know himself what's in his speech until his speech writers
told him. He's been practising in front of the mirror all morning.

11. The "specifics" of Soc.Sec. that were hinted at on the morning shows
apparently are gone. I heard that on ABC News in the car.

No specifics. We'll see.

13. I disagree

Osama. Torture.

These I agree with you on. Osama's-bin-forgotten. I suspect Saddam the Vanquished will be remembered for rape rooms and mass graves. They'll have to leave the torture out since we picked up where he left off. Of course we create mass graves there too but many don't know and/or care so that's in.

The total failure in Iraq.

Iraq is a complete success. Jr. will tell you all about it in when he's speechifyin'.

The next terror attack.

We'll hear a lot about the the next terror attack that's being planned right now!!!!!! Don't want the masses to forget to be afraid now, do we?

The coming economic crisis.

My god man!! The crisis is upon us! Now!! In the shape of Social Security!! If we don't start channeling those funds through Wall St. ASAP we're all doomed!

Unemployment.

"Unemployement"??? Why the jobs picture is just getting better and better! The term is "employment" and BushCo is creatin' it. Just ask 'em.

Health care for the poor.

Oh you'll hear all about how the Drug-Company-Free-For-All legislation is such a wonderful thing for poor seniors.

The almost 1,500 dead soldiers. The almost 100,000 dead Iraqis. Armstrong Williams and Maggie Gallagher. The Christian Conservative takeover of our nation. The missing 9 billion. The missing weapons of mass destruction.

I have to agree with you on all of these.

The impending invasion of Iran, and Syria.

I hear the beating of the drums of (new) war in the distance. There'll be another axis-of-evil type line in this version.

The total failure to protect us on 9-11.

And a host of other things.

Agreed. He'll refer to 9/11 but not the failure behind it. There will be countless bad things they've done portrayed as great things. Those that can't be twisted into pretty lies will be left out.

Julie

17. Not to mention the health problems
with the workers cleaning up the twin towers. I'm sure if they (the workers) would known about the risk they would have gladly worn protective gear.
