3. Good point.
On the other hand, you could look at this draft as being the way WE will hear it!

Nah, that's pretty much the way it will sound.

8. chimp will invoke the "ownership" word -- even bayh said this past
weekend on sunday slurp shows that SS is the insurance that we have for owning our houses -- mortgage lenders and owners alike would NEVER think of doing away with home insurance!!! DUH!!! therefore, private accounts have to be SUPPLEMENT to SS and not substitute -- and "ownership" is already being dissassembled by Dems (even the conservative ones) --
we may actually be getting out front on this issue, SOTU notwithstanding

17. "Private" has morphed into "personal"
But like all BushSpeak, it always means the opposite.

11. i especially like the line, "you scream 'n' I'll mess you up!" that is
exactly what he is doing to MURRIKANS--not to mention Iraqis! That line that you have so cleverly come up with really captures the essence of GWB...and in many ways, i think, captures the essence of GWB's own upbringing...probably by Barb.

5. Ok, that was damn funny...
Too hilarious. What a wit.

The thing is...it's so true!

Your speech was a beautiful thing, the only thing I would add is Bush's use of the word "terrorist"...which he pronounces as "tourist."

Bushspeak:
"I say...we kill all the tourists...they're bad. Really bad. The tourists hate our freedom. They despise it. So we must hunt down those tourists and kill em...and everyone they've ever met. Can't be too careful about dem tourists."

7. remember to hit the 's'
at the end of terrahists. He hits that 's' like my 2 year granddaughter hits her 'p's. If you can stomach, listen tonight & you'll hear him. I do a great impression & drive me husband nuts at the same time.

16. If he expended half as much effort trying to avoid saying
"nuke-you-lar", he might sound only half as stupid as with the emphasis on 's'.

14. LOL! Don't you mean the...
"State of the Union Infinite Regress"

infinite regress
A definitional, explanatory, or justificatory procedure that entails its own reapplication without any limit. Thus, for example, the claim that everything in the world has only extrinsic value would lead to an infinite regress. Since the lack of any intrinsically worthwhile starting-point would render all value open to question, the procedure seems to be self-defeating.

18. Good analysis, Aristus. I'd add "spreading" onto some of those "freedoms."
Like it's some kind of mustard. It's really more like -- dare I say -- an oil spill: deadly, and very tough to clean up.
