24. Just because someone 'claims' to be a Democrat, does that make them one?
Im beginning to wonder if there are 'Dems' who are actually bought and paid for Republicans disguised as such.

DINO = Democrat in name only.

ACTIONS and Legislative VOTES speak much louder than mainstream media promotion and bought and paid for Public Relations.

As well as any repub with a conscious. However, hats off to the Dems who stood up against this vile nominee.! As an aside, my DU spell checker isn't working( aol and my dell puter while listening to AAR, tends to get confused, go figure?) and I am a terrible speller, so excuse me...:dunce:

16. Repukes don't have
a conscience. They are a bunch of robots programmed to vote for whatever shit the chimp comes up with.

Some Dems occasionally exhibit a conscience, but not enough of them to make a difference.

8. ALL Republicans voted for him. The OWN PRO-TORTURE!!!
The Democrats still stand against torture and stand for the "rule of law".

:yourock:

Of course, shame on the handful of Dems who voted for the nominee.

14. Ah Lierberman, of course. A Jewish man voting for a torturer, the irony
is overwhelming. The very next act of business should be changing the name office of the Attorney General to office of the American Inquisitor.

Till recently I thought we had an up-and-comer in her. Now I wouldn't trust her any more than the others on that list.

21. Red State Re-Election
Mary has had tough elections and she's on the GOOP radar. No pass for her in my book, but this is what Democrats are going to have to deal with as the Repugnicans have perfected destroying incumbents in red states using these votes.

Until Democrats build up strong local parties in these states that can win elections, you're gonna see those in endangered areas, like Salazar and both Nelsons steer clear of handing the GOOP a hammer to nail them with. Inversely, if Democrats build up the party, then we'll start stripping away moderate Repugnicans and sap their power quickly.

Words can't express my contempt for Lieberman.

25. One whole "36"! I am so not impressed and so dissappointed.
Once again, the Dems left us out to hang and to dry? Where were the rest and why is this nomination/abomination even being debated?

SHAME! Most of all to the many members of the Repub's that voted yes purely on partisan lines.

Our Dems, rolled over and so did the Republicans that knew better. These people, "Up on the Hill", they no longer represent the common people. Wake up before it is too late. Granny D said it best, we need brooms and mops.

Imagine DINO Blank Lincoln of Arkansas voting NAY. How has she escaped being sent away to the Re-education Camps? No worries, though. I am certain she will give bu$h his next Blank Check when it's time to invade Iran.
