There are some terms used in DU I don't understand
There are a few terms used used in Du that I don't know what they mean or, if they're an acronym, I don't know what they stand for, or I don't know were they came from:

"CTer"-someone who believes in the official story of 9/11
What does "CT" stand for?

"DINO"-a republican-lite
where did this come from? does it stand for something?

"Yellow dog\Red dog" democrat
What do these mean?

"repug"
Why the "pug"?

"Bunnypants"
Where did this * nickname come from?

35. CTer != OCTer
CTer -- Conspiracy Theorist - someone who DISbelieves the OCT and "invents" a CT to try to find a more plausible explanation.

OCTer -- Official Conspiracy Theorist - someone who believes what their gov/media tells them >> the OCT

!= -- not equal (sorry, computer geek talk)

39. Wearing foil on one's head allegedly prevented
unwanted signals from the TV and/or alien motherships from penetrating the brain and thereby controlling the person. I first heard about this in the middle 70s.

The Anti-Conspiracy Theorist...they are frogs, and they are everywhere.

The class dunce', village idiots, voluntary blind, the shaking conformist, minds that don't stretch!

You know the Anti-Conspiracy Theorist ("ACT") -- Everything is as it seems and as we are shown and are told...Don't ask questions!

Childhood nickname -- once caught running around in half a bunny costume.

There's a good joke here, but I'm too tired to find it...

19. not familiar with red dog ... but, blue dog ... DU Glossary Link
Edited on Fri Feb-04-05 12:15 AM by cosmicdot
"conservative" Democrats ... you can count on them for some issues, but you can too often find them voting Republican; and, in a couple of cases, becoming Republicans: they were so Blue they became Republicans: e.g., Rep. Billy Tauzin and Rep. Jimmy Hayes of Louisiana

a yellow dog Democrat is a do or die Democrat ... a true blue Democrat ... ironically, a Blue Democrat is anything but true blue ...

What are “Blue Dog” Democrats? Are they any relation to “Yellow Dog” Democrats?

BFEE is so much easier to type :)

it's all-encompassing description of what we're dealing with; everything collectively from the time they did business with the Nazis until present ... when you see BFEE ... it says it all

Like Charlie Stenholm (until he got railroaded by DeLay), Baron Hill, Joe Turner.

Their website used to be http://baronhill.house.gov/bluedogs/ but it's gone.

33. LMAO!!!
The photo of Bush trying to look mob cracks me up every time I see it!

If you added two of Bush's other photos where Bush was playing dress up, the Mission accomplished and the one where he is wearing the Nazi style jacket, I believe you would have a collection of the top 'Bush plays dress up' shots.
