"US troops held responsible for KAM AIR crash"?
Monday February 07, 2005 (1418 PST)

KABUL, February 08 (Online): A source close to the Afghan government has held United States troops responsible for crash of a passenger plane.
Talking to Radio Tehran on condition of anonymity told that the KAM AIR, which was on its way from Herat to Kabul did not land at Kabul airport due to bad weather.

The pilot of the plane wanted to land at Bagram airbase where the US forces have been stationed; however, the US troops did not allow the plane to land.

The source further told that the staff of the plane had informed the US troops at Bagram airbase that it could remain in air for only fifteen minutes. That is why necessary for the plane to land but the US forces did not allow it which caused its crash. Consequently 104 passengers were killed on board the plane.

1. Ah....the sweet benevolence of freedom................
if this is true, whoever is responsible should be made to clean up the wreckage himself, then have to visit each and every family member of the dead. What a selfish, horrible thing to do. They'll say it was for "security reasons". Bullshit, whoever was in that tower condemned 106 people to death.

2. It is a sin I guess to want to land your own plane at your ====
own countries bases. What is it with that? In a time of need every one let Am. planes land world wide and military usually lets planes to land if needed. Is it because these people are not the same as us? What could be wrong with the plane landing?

3. Instead, Bush will probably
give the Commander a big promotion.

No wonder this crash has been so hush-hush. We still don't even know who was on the plane? What's with that?

7. NY Planes
It was those two NY planes that landed without permission that makes the military nervous. Seldom are civilian planes permitted to land at military airbases in ANY country.

8. I don't think those two planes
were asking 'permission' to land however.

4. Racism at its best!
The people on the plane weren't white so the army just didn't give a damn about them.

5. there were some Americans on the plane
whether they were "white" or not I have no idea, and doubt if the control tower would know anything about that either.

6. I think there are a few non-whites
in the US Army.

At least it looked that way in F911.
