1. Approval of what?
bush foisted off a bogus "election" on Iraq that will all but confirm a civil war, regardless of the press bullshit the economy sucks and is skating on the thinnest of ice. However, these journalists eat up the gop talking points regarding "cautious optimism". Oh please.

2. I have to admit
I didn't like him before because of the whole bankrupting the country deal, but now that Iraq is free (again), I've totally changed my mind!

Isn't this like the 4th time he's freed that country, in just 4 years? Best president ever!

4. It's quite understandable, given coverage of Iraq's elections...
But, I'm certain as the violence continues, his ratings will come back to earth.

8. 57% funny that was the exact # that the

media whores said voted in Iraq. Although it turns out that that # was way high
too. Seems that the same Iraqis went from poll to poll to make it look like
their was a big turn out. That photo op tour was under "American control."
Somehow Rove/Cheney/Creative Response Concepts/Hill & Knowlton
/Ketchum Group might be repeating their #s.

Fact, bush got his ass kicked in the last election and the media is now publishing
what ever bull shit #s bush & Company give them.

Although my favorite # is Wyoming's 106% turn out of registered voters. Nothing
to see there ..... move along ...... nothing to see ......

:grr:

10. I'm very depressed by this number...
...because the American people frighten me.

Are they that weak? They hear a few warm-fuzzy stories about the election, on Fox News--and all of a sudden they like *?

That's fargin frightening.

We know Bush will continue to act like a buffoon, with his war games, propaganda and marketeering. We expect him to continue acting like a baboon.

I just didn't expect that the American people were this dumb.

It's scary when so many are fooled. Reminds me of the Nazis.

Wake up America!!

11. News About His Budget Will Send That Number Crashing
I know a 2-time Bush voter who went NUTS when she saw that he wanted to slash benefits for the poor. I was like, "What the fuck did you THINK, that he was some kind of compassionate conservative? Christ, where have you been!?"

13. Until/Unless you see WHO the polled, ignore it, it's just Bush
propaganda. Every Gallup poll so far oversamples Republicans.

15. Exactly!
I have no doubt Gallup is told by 'certain' people what number is needed and he calculates what percentage of repubs over dems he needs to produce the magic number. Gallup's credibility is as real as the bush cabal's and no wonder, he is part of it.
