2. First
What is your definition of Revolution?

If it involves talking to the brain dead, kool-aid, drinking sheep, then no thanks.

I personally think that talking to people who won't listen is both a waste of my time and an abuse of oxygen.

4. The budget only proves it's CLASS WARFARE
and they've already fired the first shot. Time to FIGHT BACK ... by any means necessary.

9. The words 'by any means necessary' are way too threatening for
the paranoid and eager right wing who enforce the 'you're either with us or against us' Bush cabal.

If you really mean 'by any means necessary', then I'm out 'a' here. If you mean something else, an example would help.

10. Thinking outside the box
I'm not advocating violence, but just maybe getting ourselves physically out there, in addition to emailing our representatives, etc. We've been working "through the system" up until now, and I think we have to start being a bit more creative and not just assuming that "good will triumph in the end." We need to start asking ourselves ... UGH ... What would KKKarl do?

13. I agree that working through the system hasn't worked...I always
believed that our elected representatives were taking care of us...then because of the dirty tricks, imperialistic horrors, and devestataing executive orders we all started observing more and our 'own' came under the microscope. I never thought I'd be criticizing the Clintons. I never thought I could be so damning of Leiberman. Things have changed drastically and will change even more. I think teaching others about what is going on using stories about what I once believed and contrasting it with what I've learned really helps, but I can never talk to enough people.

I am thrilled that Dean is doing so well in the DNC because we need to demonstrate to our own that we're serious and exacting - because in the end our representatives and locals are the ones who will have to make the changes - no matter how many streets we walk in or how many signs we can carry at one time.

15. You said a mouthful, HC. Especially about 'our own' under the 'scope.

For me it started when no democrats protested the illegal USSC decision in the 2000 election.

From there it wasn't too big a step to realize that there really is only one party, the American Corporate party.

It's my hope (and maybe the last hope for the nation) that Dean will be a catalyst to bring all of those of both parties who believe in the government of, by and for the people, not the corporate elite. Otherwise, we are hitting the 200 year wall that great civilizations find destructive.

6. the time for talk may be done
We need to show the Government that we're willing to take our country back. They need to shape up or ship the fuk out.

like I said before, it's been a good 35 years or so since I've been clubbed by a cop, but I wouldn't think it has changed that much since then. It's probably going to hurt a little more at my age, but hey, no pain no gain!

March 19 it is.

8. This won't be a revolution nor just riots in the street.
This will be a full blown civil war. The country has the same kind of "feel" about it as is related about "Bleeding Kansas" and the run up to the First Civil War. This is a powder keg we're all sitting upon; I'm not saying don't light that fuse, I'm just saying that you need to know what this could mean before striking that match...

12. Oh please,
most Americans wouldn't survive past lunch. Besides most of the Rush Limbaugh types are a bunch of load mouth cowards.

We just need to start saying no to bullies.

14. Oh, so you aren't talking about "revolution",
which is what the OP is speaking of. You are just talking about "protests"? Then I agree with your "Oh, please".
