Poll question: How often do you listen to Air America?
Or any other forms of progressive radio?

1. AAR and Pacifica are about all I can take anymore
as far as radio goes. Everything else makes me sick.

I listen on the net. Maybe that's not possible for you, but you can still get it for free.

13. You could turn your computer into a radio
Just tune it in and leave it on. Heh, sorry, I'm not trying to sell it to you. Just pointing out that you have options.

18. Oh, no, I appreciate it. You'd have to know the setup over here...
and I didn't want to be boring. The computer is in a small room which is shut off from the rest of the house. And I'm partly deaf. I know it sounds like I'm making excuses, but if there was any way I could listen to AA without spending a lot of money, I would.

12. Sometimes for a few minutes, no regular schedule.
Honestly, I prefer Pacifica Radio. AAR comes across to me as too much in the style of the raging RW stations.

14. Does anybody listen to LIONEL, LIONEL, LIONEL?
I discovered him fairly recently.

Not particularly partisan or issue-minded, but he's damn funny.

23. Yes!
One of the only progressive shows that comes in by me. I love the way he handles Freeper robots. He insists they have a discussion, not read some rehearsed crap off a piece of paper or spout some anecdotes or misinformation they memorized. Their heads practically explode sometimes when they try it.

25. I'm jealous of his vocabulary.
...And when he mimics the callers, I genuinely laugh aloud.

I usually listen on Saturday nights, so I apparently get my fill of the Freeper robots.

We don't get it here, either.
I bought Sirrius just to get it
140 channels commercial free music
and all I ever listen to is AAR

26. I've been thinking about getting Sirrius
just the radio -- not in general

Can you recommend any sites where I can get info on what is available, the stations, etc?

Were you happy with the cost?

Any thoughts you'd care to share would be appreciated. You can pm me.

16. 30+
I'm almost always in front of a computer, so the streaming is always going. Oh yeah, and I'm a grad student, so I don't sleep all that much. I love AAR!

and I have to turn Ed down a little when I'm working, but I love them all.

20. I'm jealous
I'm thinking about getting Sirius. But the computer stream has gotten much, much better, even within the last two months. But 120 channels of commercial free music and AAR? Man, that sounds really nice.

21. Surrport Air America Radio. The BEST!

With Mike Malloy one can't get a more passionate, entrtaining, informative and liberal voice, as well as being extremely funny doing it (on the days BushCo hasn't tired & completely overwheled him with their lies and greed and bullshit).

Randi is an excellent, a great fighter, I love Janeane's passion sincerity & dedication.

And RFK Jr. & Laura Flanders on the week-ends.

I want to listen when I am on the road, so streaming media does not help.
