almost all the posts are about who is stumbling, who is fucking up, how this debate has been ruined. Geez, is there anyone else on here who has actually heard something good tonight?
5. Any one of the nine would mop the floor with Shitforbrains
in a fair election.
I will vote for whomever the Democrats nominate. After tonight, I'll feel even better about doing that.
I though Graham was very impressive tonight. I also thought Sharpton was absolutely great.
The highlight of the night for me was Kucinich's unequivocal "No" when asked if he would vote for Bush's latest $87B Halliburton funding request.
I also noted that Kerry had the courage to say he'd vote no on the $87B if Bush/PNAC didn't have some answers about Iraq. I truly wish the others hadn't equivocated on that issue.
I think this was Lieberman's best performance yet. He does have genuine passion about some issues, even if most DUers disagree with him on others.
I just read all 5 debate threads, 600 posts or more. The great majority were positive; exceptions concerned Lieberman (and were highly unsympathetic) and Kerry (and were generally sympathetic). Maybe go back and read the threads?
this time, I didn't think that any of them came across as particularly "presidential" . . . makes me wonder if maybe a Clark or a Gore or even a Clinton might yet be in mix . . . we'll see . . .
