I am sooooooo confused now...
I have no idea who to vote for. I really liked what Kucinich said, and Gephardt came on strong. However, I'm finding my leanings towards Dean are not as strong and that Edwards and Kerry did OK. Someone help me out here..........

1. We have an embarassment of riches ....
EVERY single one of them would be a thousand times better than Bush and the best of them would be infinitely better.

Relax and enjoy. You don't have to make up your mind until primary election day.

11. It is unfortunate
Clark, if he does announce his candidacy, did not announce prior to these debates so he could participate.

3. I actually think that Dean was playing this one safe.
The more hits he takes from Lieberman the better it is for him. Also, he's in the lead right now and the rest aren't attacking him. If it works, don't fix it.

5. DK has a lot of support that is not being revealed!
I know this for a fact! He could just pull it off. Did you hear all of the applause! He said we need to get out of there and bring our troops home and that's the end of it!

He means what he says no doubt!!!

:kick:

9. I'm really glad Kucinich wasn't shouting
He came off about 1,000% better tonight because he made his comments like a normal person and not a fire and brimstone preacher.

He's already edged out Clark as my number two guy on the basis of this debate. He really kicked ass tonight.

14. I agree Kucinich was at his best
(but I didn't catch the beginning).

Anyway, he made a lot of sense and spoke persuasively.

7. Edwards
Edited on Tue Sep-09-03 08:50 PM by quam
Because of his approach and methoding of communicating at a personal level, I feel Edwards would be extremely strong in a townhall style debate, a la the Clinton vs. George H. Bush debates.

10. I did notice that Edwards
was using the Clinton thumb-pointing tactic. I really do miss that man....

8. At the risk of sounding too much like an Andover cheerleader
I've come to the conclusion that five of the nine candidates could easily whip Chimpy's patrician ass all the way back to the astroturf pastures of Crawford. They all get better with every debate.

I bet KKKarl is pooin' his XXL Fruit of the Looms as we speak!

I don't presume to tell people how to vote, but my considerations are
narrow it down to the candidates who sound like he's reading my mind, then choose the one whi I think can win.

12. Exactly
We need the candidate who appeals to the most candidates. It is more important to send Bush home than get that candidate that we want through the Primary.

15. Lots of time
Look at their record. Who has implemented things you believe in, has the same vision you do. Who has the ability to beat Bush and the Rove machine and has a platform and message that will win 51% of the vote.

We've got several months until the primaries, lots of time to decide.
