3. blame the poor
I hate to say it, but this lost on the vote of poor people. All the polls showed this losing in the african american and low income demographics. It's a shame.

4. No. Blame the Rich Fucks for Lying to the Uneducated.
And Poor. Never underestimate the power of the wealthy to obfuscate the issue so those with 4th grade education can be easily distracted.

Makes me sick. I voted yes.

5. I saw an analysis of this a few nights ago
(can't remember where).

Even though the poor would benefit more from the change in the state tax code they, along with African Americans, are having a hard time supporting it because the Republican governor is pushing it. Sad when a Republican finally puts himself on the line and tries to do the right thing, people still can't trust him.
